Sophia Panidou studied at the Primary Education Department of the Greek University of Thessaloniki and completed her postgraduate studies with the subject of Educational Sciences and majoring in “Creative writing and editorial production for children”. She has taken part in research projects concerning language and literature. Her book Zahra and Nickolas-Their Stories has won the Greek IBBY Award 2019. Sophia writes poetry and books for children. She lives in Thessaloniki and works in public education.
